Mimaki’s advanced industrial UV LED flatbed printer, the JFX600-2513, is redefining what is possible in direct-to-wood printing, enabling manufacturers to achieve unprecedented levels of speed, precision, and sustainability. Its capabilities have been showcased by Italian manufacturer CEMAB, which now produces more than 500 wooden displays per day using the JFX600-2513.

Engineered for high-volume, industrial environments, the JFX600-2513 delivers 8 cm print width per pass and speeds of up to 200 sqm/hour, supporting high-quality, high-throughput workflows without compromising detail or colour accuracy. Designed to print directly onto a wide range of rigid substrates, including smooth and irregular wooden surfaces, the printer eliminates traditional finishing steps involving laminates, vinyl or adhesives.

CEMAB, one of Europe’s largest wooden display producers with more than 40 years of industry leadership, installed the JFX600-2513 to accelerate production and introduce new levels of print quality.“The quality of our work is built on innovation and precision. The Mimaki JFX600-2513 has allowed us to guarantee both exceptional speed and a level of print quality on wood that was previously unimaginable,” says Alessandro Leccese, Managing Director at CEMAB.

By printing vivid, high-definition graphics directly on wooden substrates, CEMAB has streamlined production, reduced complexity, and significantly improved turnaround times.“Speed has become one of our key competitive advantages. With the JFX600-2513, we can produce far more in less time without compromising quality. We are faster, more efficient, and still delivering the quality and precision our customers expect,” Leccese adds.

Mimaki’s UV LED technology and eco-friendly UV inks have also enabled CEMAB to reduce waste and lessen its environmental impact. Eliminating adhesives from the decorative finishing process cuts material consumption, while on-demand production minimises stockholding and supports efficient resource management.
“We have always aimed to do our part for the environment. With the JFX600, we reduce waste while delivering a superior product,” says Leccese.

By combining Mimaki’s cutting-edge UV LED flatbed technology with its own longstanding craftsmanship, CEMAB has expanded its creative possibilities and enhanced its operational capabilities. “This integration of craftsmanship and technology is setting a new benchmark in the sector, proving that even in traditional industries, innovation is the key to staying ahead in a competitive global market,” Leccese concludes.
