Friday, 22 August 2025 Out of Home half-year results for 2025 The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) has announced Out Of Home (OOH) half-year net media revenue of $697.3 million, up 17.86% from $591.7 million for the same period in 2024. The association noted that previously released revenue figures have been adjusted to reflect the Outdoor Media Association (OMA) membership changes up to July 2025. Category figures 2025 (figures may not add to total due to rounding): • Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres) $294.9 million • Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals, small format) $150.1 million • Transport (including airports) $104.4 million • Retail, Lifestyle and Other (including shopping centre panels, as well as all place-based digital signs such as office media covering lifts and office buildings, café panels, and digital screens in doctors’ surgeries and medical centres) $147.9 million Category figures 2024 (figures may not add to total due to rounding): • Roadside Billboards (over and under 25 square metres) $253.1 million • Roadside Other (street furniture, bus/tram externals, small format) $131.9 million • Transport (including airports) $76.8 million • Retail, Lifestyle and Other (including shopping centre panels, as well as all place-based digital signs such as office media covering lifts and office buildings, café panels, and digital screens in doctors’ surgeries and medical centres) $129.9 million The OMA estimates that it represents approximately 95 per cent of Australia's out-of-home (OOH) industry. The figures provided are net (exclusive of commission, production, and installation) and represent advertiser campaigns posted each quarter, including all direct sales estimated at 10 per cent of total bookings. The association said that the half-year net media revenue category figures are provided from 2024 to capture the industry's growth, including OMA membership up to July 2025. Digital Out of Home (DOOH) revenue now accounts for 76.1% of total net media revenue year-to-date, an increase from last year’s 74.4% for the same period.
