Achieves set sales objectives for the Commercial Branding & Transportation Division (CBTD) by providing independent sales coverage of assigned accounts within the assigned territory. Position intended for individuals with significant achievements in sales who have demonstrated advanced use of selling skills and have consistently produced positive sales results. Manages the sales territory independently with limited consultation/supervision.

Role and Responsibility

• Establishment and Achievement of Objectives:
• Sales and Marketing: Applies understanding of3M’s brand and innovation story, as well as key value propositions, and applications to maximize revenue. Demonstrates and trains internal and external customers on product applications. Interacts with the business to identify key target audiences and provide input to marketing plans.  Develops and implements Key Account Plans and end user accounts in CRM ​
• Coordination and Planning: Plans and manages time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities.
• Administration: Maintains and communicates account and prospect information, maintains company resources, and sales support materials.
• Leadership: Exhibits leadership with accounts, prospects and peers. Accepts direction and assumes leadership as appropriate, developing mentoring and coaching skills. Asserts ideas and persuades others to action, builds collaboration among team members to address relevant customer/industry issues.
• Development: Continuously expected to learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, applications, selling, administrative and other skills.
• Policy: Applies the business unit's sales policies, practices and procedures.

Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree level of education or experience in the Graphics industry preferred.
• Experience with Print, Signage, Architectural, Graphics is preferred
• Requires use of computers, including basic Personal Computer (PC) software, specialized sales software.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of product lines, customer segments and their needs, markets, divisional/branch functions, and competitive products, prices and policies.

To be able to succeed in this role you will need to have:

• Experience in working in a similar role within the Sign/Display/Graphics/Materials supply or B2B Distribution.
• Strong computer skills with experience using SAP or similar and CRM SalesForce.
• An empathetic and resilient nature with an ability to stay positive when the pressure is on.
• Excellent people management skills. 
• Strong verbal and written communication with high attention to detail.
• numerical stock codes required.

• Maintain machines for optimum performance 
• Scheduling work & communicating within the team 

Secondary role responsible for:

• Assisting in signage production and Installation as required to meet deadlines
   

Skills Required & will be of benefit to the role:

• Previous signage or CNC machining background (min. 5 years)
• Strong attention to detail
• Machine & material knowledge, use & capabilities
• Proficient in use of design & toolpathing software (Enroute / Gravostyle / Corel draw / Adobe Illustrator and other vector based softwares) 
• Ability to communicate & work in a team environment 
• Self-motivated & organised

Reporting to the Business Manager - LFP, your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and implementing product strategies for our large format printer portfolio, sold through our reseller channels.

Forecasting and statistical analysis

Setting and monitoring pricing and stock movements

Maintaining, reviewing and analysing competitive activity including product information, pricing and marketing activities

Working with the Marketing Communications team to create communication strategies for advertising and marketing collateral.

This role would be ideal for someone who has had a few years working in a product management team Preferably your experience comes from the commercial printing area and you have formal Marketing or Business qualifications.

You are a clear, creative and strategic thinker capable of making sound judgments while being pro-active and flexible and capable of meeting strict deadlines. You have strong excel skills and a positive, confident, team player who is able to develop strong relationships.
